UKA Academy Awards
UKA Academy Awards recognise sporting performances of young athletes. For Secondary students, up to year 9, athletes can work towards Multi Event awards, based on a nine step ladder. The top of the ladder is GOLD Level! These awards are :
Tri – Best run, jump and throw
Quad – Best two track and two field events
Pentathlon – High Jump, Long Jump, Shot, Hurdles, 800m
The points awarded for these disciplines have been applied to our own young athletes, to see how they rate in the overall scheme, and is based on their best performances over the season.
