18 May - Wootton goes to the top of the Power of 10 rankings
In winning the senior women's 5000m at the BMC Solihull Grand Prix on Saturday Katrina Wootton, in clocking 15:30.82, went to the top of the UK rankings for that event. This also set a new Club record for the 5000m and was a UKA B standard for qualification for the IAAF World Championships in Moscow later in the season.
Also breaking new ground was Jeremy Barnes who went to third place on the UK Under 17 Men's 800m rankings with a new p.b. of 1:55.23.

About us
We are the oldest established athletics club in Coventry, and cater for all types of athletic events and all age groups.
We compete at local, regional and national levels in the various disciplines.
Our club headquarters is at the Coventry Athletics Track, Warwick University, where we have our own clubhouse plus a fitness centre.

General Notices
Please ensure that when you bring your children for training, there is in fact a coach available for them. Occasionally circumstances may arise when a coach cannot be there.

New Clubhouse officially opened
After 27 years in a "temporary" building at the Coventry Athletic Track, October 13th 2011 saw the official opening of the new Club House.
A good number of people gathered including Club Officers, Life Members, members and friends.
The opening was marked by the unveiling of a plaque by Michael Linton MBE, CEO of NP Aerospace.

The old clubhouse was demolished at the end of 2010. As the new building took shape through the winter Gordon Horne kept a photagraphic record.
